Description[]
Scathron is a small, venomous, scorpion-like monster that lives in regions of sand or lava. They have a bright orange and yellow back to warn predators of the flaming hot tail they carry above their body.
The flames burn off a clear but toxic smoke that can sicken monsters when inhaled, so expert tamers warn to handle Scathron carefully. Scathron use this smoke to to bring down prey much larger than themselves. In the Middle of Nowhere where prey is sparse, they can strip plants bare of leaves.
Their claws are very solid, and they beat them on the ground in timed increments to communicate with Scathron in areas nearby. When there are hundreds of Scathron in an area, the sound travels for miles.

Scathron is primarily found in Seed Yang, however, with the introduction of the Looting Base, it now also appears on one Seed Yin Map.
