Description[]
Inkuid is a squid-like monster that is exclusive to the reefs of Exile Island. They have one large eye in the middle of their face which allows them to see even in darkness, but makes them lack depth perception.
This monster is most noted for a thick black ink that they secrete from their bodies when they are trying to defend themselves. This ink is collected by fishermen and used in pens. Many tamers think the original design for a pencil came from the yellow, pink and gray coloring that patterns the Inkuid's body to help tamers make the transition from ink to lead for writing.
